Josephine Marie Baldozier Dolph-Reed, 94, of Maryville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at the Nodaway Nursing Home.

Josephine was born on February 24, 1924. The fourth daughter of James H. and Louise F. (Horstmeyer) Baldozier, Sr., in their home of White Cloud, Iowa. James H. Baldozier, Jr., joined them two years later.

She attended school at White Cloud Elementary country school, attended school in Malvern, Iowa and transferred in 1938 to Burlington Junction, Missouri.

Josephine married Virgil F. Dolph in Columbia, South Carolina in 1942 and lived in South Carolina, Florida, California, Arkansas, Vancouver, Washington and made their home in Burlington Junction, Missouri.

To this union were born three sons, James Frederick Dolph, David Eugene Dolph, and Virgil Joseph Dolph.

She later married William Cleo Dolph on June 25, 1971 and made their home in Skidmore from 1971-1995, later moving to Elsberry from 1995-1999, Missouri and then to Clearmont, Missouri in 1999.

She was a member of Burlington Junction Methodist Church, Roseanna Chapter #262 Order of the Eastern Star, where she received her 50 year pin in 2001, Clearmont Baptist Church, and First Assembly of God Church in Elsberry and Maryville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, infant son, James F. Dolph, first husband, Virgil F. Dolph, second husband, William C. Reed, two sisters, Leota McCurdy, Grace Norman, son, Billy L. Reed, son, David E. Dolph, brother, James H. Baldozier, Jr., and great-granddaughter, Symone Tharp.

Survivors include two sons, Virgil Joseph Dolph (Gwen), Lawrenceville, Georgia, Kirby Reed, Pickens, South Carolina, daughter, Marsha LeAnn Willoughby, Middleburg, Florida; daughter-in-laws, Betty Dolph and Roberta Reed; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services 11 AM Friday, March 9th at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial: Malvern Cemetery, Malvern, Iowa.
