A U. S. Air Force veteran and airplane mechanic, Mr. Howell retired from the military after 20 years of service. He was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church, the Pacolet Lions Club, and an avid fisherman.
Surviving are his brother, Jack Howell (Dorothy) of Summerville, SC; nieces, Christy Howell Guyton (Bobby) of Pacolet, SC; nephew, David Howell (Sherry) of Pacolet, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by brothers, Jimmy Howell and Tom Howell.
Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Pacolet Mills Baptist Church, 385 Stone St., Pacolet, SC 29372 with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. Norman L. Band. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens
