Fannie Mae Harris, age 91, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at approximately 6:30 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

She was born on October 13, 1926 in Montgomery, AL to the union of James Tatmon and Emma Williams Yelder Stewart; both parents preceded her in death.

On April 12, 1947 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Willie James Harris, Sr. who preceded her in death in 1991.

Mrs. Harris worked many years at Westinghouse. She accepted Christ at an early age; she was a member of Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church where she was on the Nurses Aid Committee. She loved to cook and often cooked dinners for those who had and those who didn't have.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory; 4 sons; Willie J. Harris, Jr. (Theresa) of Dayton. Wesley Lee Harris of Lima. Steven E. Harris (Regenie Gordon) of Beaufort, SC and Kasper L. Harris (Jodi) of Columbus, Ohio. 4 daughters; Martha M. Burton of Middletown, OH. Betty A. Harris, Kathy J. Simpson (Danny) and Gloria L. Meeks (Fernando) all of Lima. 31 grandchildren and 91 great grandchildren. 5 step daughters; Diann Perry (Robert) and Cherry Goston (Donald) both of Lima. Lena Perry ( Elton) and Verlene Mills (Rudy) both of Lawrenceville, GA. Carol Brooks (Michael) of Stone Mountain, Ga.

She was preceded in death by 4 sons; Vern L. "Smokey" Harris, Marcus D. Harris, Earl L. Harris, Melvin G. "Happy" Harris. A daughter; Julia A. Harris and a stepson; David Harris.

Services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Toney, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where the family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery
