Mrs. Martha Bork, 56, of 227
Erie St., died after a long illness
Friday night (March 9, 1962) at
Lockport Memorial Hospital.
She had been employed at Har-
rison Radiator Division, General
Motors Corp., for the past 20
years.
Mrs. Bork was born Feb. 11,1906
in the Town of Royalton, the
daughter of Edward and Augusta
Schultz Schendel. She attended
First English Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two daughters,
Mrs. Shirley Smith and Mrs. Jo-
seph Mullett, both of Lockport;
two brothers, Marcus Schendel of
Rapids and Edward Schendel of
Tonawanda; and four sisters, Mrs.
Teresa Gombert of Rapids, Mrs.
Edna Scarborough and Mrs. Syl-
via Truax, both of Lockport, and
Mrs. Florence Lenovich of San
Diego, Caifornia
Friends may call from 2-4 , and
7-9 p.m. at Prudden & Kandt Fu-
neral Home, 242 Genesee St. The
Rev. Robert E. Heffner of First
English Lutheran Church will of-
ciciate at funeral services there at
2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in
Glenwood Cemetery.
