Mr. Johnny Lloyd Sloas, 66, of Huntsville, Arkansas formerly of Harrisburg departed this life Saturday, March 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 15, 1951 in Harrisburg the son of Floyd and Eva (Adams) Sloas. Johnny married Bonnie Dales April 14, 1983 and they have enjoyed thirty-four years together. Johnny worked for 3/W Lumber Company for fifteen years and then had a Roofing business in Huntsville for twenty-five years. He enjoyed cutting wood, taking care of cows, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Johnny is a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Harrisburg. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Eva Sloas, two step-children: James Evert Hackney and Melissa Fay Hackney, three brothers: Wilburn, Donald, and Rayburn Sloas. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Sloas of the home in Huntsville, two sons: Anthony Lloyd and wife Whitney Sloas of Huntsville and Michael (Jill) Sloas of Paragould, two daughters: Misty and husband Jackie Swindle of Elaine and Deanna Sloas of Huntsville, four sisters: Wilma Lovelady of Jonesboro, Ivalene Clifton of Harrisburg, Christine Merritt of Harrisburg, and Maxine Swan of Jonesboro, four grandchildren: Kelsey Sloas, Kriston Smith, Kenley Swindle, and Taylor Sloas. Funeral services are 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 with visitation Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Jackson’s Funeral Home Harrisburg. Bro. Paul Peters will conduct the service and these men will serve as active pallbearers: Anthony Sloas, Louis Sloas, Jeremy Clifton, Jeremy Holler, Dustin Weeks,Tony Whitford, Brandon Davis and Tim Swan. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
