Danny Roy James Jr. died on March 7, 2018 at the age of 33.
Danny had a magnetic personality that touched more people than we ever might know.
Danny was born on December 6, 1984. He was a graduate of Vernon Regional College and served in the Army for 6 years including two serves in Iraq. Danny was an amazing person with a big heart that could bring laughter to any situation. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching Dallas Cowboys and most of all being with his family and friends. He was a kind, generous, loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.
Danny is survived by his father, Danny Roy James, Sr.; siblings, LaTashia Foster (husband Curtis Foster), LeRone James (wife Leah James) and Autry Manuel; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Laura James and his brother Lynn Davis.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Grandfield, 101 E 3rd Street, Grandfield, Oklahoma with Pastor Chester King, Pastor Preston King, and Rev. Carl English, officiating. Interment will follow at Grandfield Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett. A reception will follow the service, and all are welcome to attend and celebrate Danny’s life.
