5 Dec 2021 Suggested edit: The date of birth shown on this memorial page was incorrectly converted from Julian to Gregorian. Per Quaker record, John was born the 6th da., 8th mo., 1670.
Prior to 1751, the first month of the Julian calendar was in March, not January. OS dates between 05 Oct 1582 and 28 Feb 1700 must be adjusted by +10 days, and additional adjustments must be made to accommodate leap years.
The Quaker date written as 6th da., 8th mo., 1670 converts to 06/16 Oct 1670, whereas 06 Oct 1670 is Gregorian (OS) and 16 Oct 1670 is Julian (NS).

6 Dec 2021 Suggested edit: Suggested correction to a minor error that I made is at the bottom of this message...
Thank you for making the suggested edit to John Pope (187874167). You have a note on the memorial page that states "find it hard to believe all three siblings suggested by Quaker documents were born during the month of October." That fact wouldn't be so difficult to believe if we consider that William may have only been home in Nansemond in the springtime to be with his wife, and elsewhere (perhaps at his plantation in Isle of Wight) during the rest of the year. Other Quaker records demonstrate that he was a merchant, so maybe he was busy making a living for his family during the other months.
I have uploaded a digital image to the memorial page of the historic Quaker record demonstrating the dates of birth for the children of William and Marie Pope. I prefer to go with actual historic records, whenever possible, instead of what others write because I have found way too [many] discrepancies between the records and what others write. The historic record clearly states, as follows...
"Wm Pope & Marie his wife their Childrens Nattivitties recorded as followeth.— Wm Pope, sonn of the aforesd Wm & Mary was borne the 15th of the 8th month 1662. Henry Pope, sonn of the aforesd Wm & Mary was borne the last of the 11th mo: 1663. Alse Pope daughter of the aforesd Wm & Mary was borne of the 8 mo: 1667. John Pope sonn of the aforesaid Wm & Mary was borne the 6th of the 8 mo 1670."
As for the Quaker date conversion, I wrote a software program which accurately takes into account all known variables when making the conversions. The dates that I provided are accurate. However, I made one error in my message... please accept my apologies... in the last sentence, "Gregorian (OS)" should read "Julian (OS)", and "Julian (NS)" should read "Gregorian (NS)".
