Angeline McMahan Cheek Townville, SC Angeline McMahan Cheek, 89, of Townville, SC passed away on October 12, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House. Born on September 8, 1924 in Anderson, SC to the late Thomas T. and Willie Bagwell McMahan ; She was married to the late Clinton Cheek. She was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church for over 75 years and taught the Children's Sunday School Class for 28 years. She was a true servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and lived her life by Christian Example. She is survived by her daughter Judy Cheek; 4 siblings; 2 grandchildren: Angie Cheek Gentry and Jeff Cheek; and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents; she is also predeceased by a son Harry Cheek and 4 brothers. Services officiated by Rev. Kyle Caudell and Pastor Paul Holcombe will be held at Double Springs Baptist Church on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 3 p.m. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 2 p.m.- 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, give your heart to Jesus Christ. Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, Downtown Chapel, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
