Susan Elaine Acklen age 65, of New York, formerly of Franklin County, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2017. She was born on January 7, 1952 in Dearborn, MI to the late Charles and Edna Pauline Acklen. Ms. Acklen worked for Hearst Publications in Plattsburgh, NY as a program producer. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Jane Schuck and brother, Charles Allen Acklen. Ms. Acklen is survived by her niece, Tracy Schuck and brother-in-law, Thomas Schuck.
