Mrs. Rose Ella McConnell, 80, of 704 Cherry, died Tuesday afternoon at Mercy Villa following a lingering illness. Mrs. McConnell, a member of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church, had lived her since 1927. She was the widow of T. K. McConnell.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joseph C. Shouse, of the home; a half-brother, A. C. Scroggs, Los Angeles; and a granddaughter, Mrs. Carolyn Craig, Anaheim, Calif.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Thursday in the Gorman-Scharpf Chapel with the Rev. William E. Everheart officiating. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery.
