Reverend Sir Robert Affleck, 4th Baronet, was the son of Reverend James Affleck and Mary Proctor. He married Maria Impey, daughter of Sir Elijiah Impey and Mary Reade, on 16 May 1800.

He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Affleck, of Dalham Hall, Dalham, Suffolk on 10 August 1833 where he died, aged 88 years, on 7th May 1851.

Education:
Educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England he matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England on 26 June 1783. He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1787 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and in 1790 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).

Vicar at Westrow, Yorkshire - between 1796 and 1833
Rector at Treswell, Nottinghamshire - between 1796 and 1837.
