Sherry, 71, of St. Johns, MI passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at her home after a short illness.
At Sherry's request, cremation has taken place and no services were held.
Sherry was born in Carson City, MI on December 10, 1946 the daughter of Evan and Ruth (Grubaugh) Jones. She graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School with the class of 1964.
Sherry resided most of her life in the St. Johns area.
Sherry loved her family and friends fiercely and had a passion for helping people. She enjoyed reading, gardening, home improvement projects, fishing, and antiquing. Sherry was a legendary cook and loved to prepare meals for family and friends. She was employed many years as a bookkeeper and took great pride in her work.
Sherry is survived by her two sons: Marty (Martha Snyder) Beck of St. Johns, and Matthew (Olivia) Beck of Lansing. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Heather (Richard) Horton, Amber Burton, Tylerscott Alleyne, Brianna Beck, Elliot Beck; 6 great grand children: Kacey Beck Horton, Madison Horton, Autumn Horton, Emma Horton, Morgan Bower, and Erik Bower.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents.
