Rev. Larry Lee Andrews, 68, of Warren County, Virginia, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at his home after a long courageous battle with cancer.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Bible Fellowship Church with the Rev. Gary Ehlert officiating. Interment will follow in Bennett's Chapel Cemetery in Warren County.

Rev. Andrews was born April 10, 1949 in Front Royal, VA, son of the late Russell Andrews and Dorthea Clatterbuck Young.

He was president of the Warren County Builders Association, member of the Warren County School Board from 1995 until 1999, member of the NRA, the Heritage Foundation, and Cato Institute.

Rev. Andrews was founder of Grace Bible Fellowship and pastored the church for 42 years.

He enjoyed spending his past time farming, and he never met a stranger.

He will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends.

Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Cynthia "Cindy" Lee Andrews; one son, John W. Andrews of Goode; two daughters, Dawn Kennedy and Kimberly Doyle, both of Front Royal; three brothers, the Rev. Bobby Andrews of Roanoke, and Ronnie Andrews and Jackie Andrews, both of Front Royal; and 11 grandchildren.

Rev. Andrews was preceded in death, along with his parents, by two brothers, Billy Andrews and Butch Andrews, and his step-father, Frank Young.

Pallbearers will be Archie Fox, Bill Carter, George Cline Jr., Steve Lockhart, Brandon Baker-Williams, Jason Smith and Teddy Stout.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Brogan, David Perdue, Art Safelle, Art Megeath, Tony Frazier, Chuck Larsen, Tim Curtis, Larry Vandall, Brian Marchand, Martha Buracker and Col. Gary Settle.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Garce Bible Fellowship Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International Processing Center, P.O. Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.

Arrangements are being handled by Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, VA.
