Mother Jennie V. Davis Thompson, age 94, passed at Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Nacogdoches, Texas.
She was born April 12, 1923 to Clara and Lewis Davis. She lived in Jerico for several years and she married Tennessee Thompson and to this union she had 12 children, 25 grandchildren and 30 plus great-grandchildren and a host or nieces and nephews.
She worked in the Home Health Field and was a homemaker. Jennie joined Triumph Church at an early age and remained a faithful member until her death. Mother Thompson was an active member in the Motherhood and she was a soldier until then end.
Mother Thompson leaves to mourn her memories; two daughters, Clara Dergin (Gilbert) and Ruthie Thompson; stepdaughter, Mary Young; five sons, Elder Melton Thompson (Delphine), Steven Thompson (Feleisha), Lenard Thompson, Marvin Thompson and Elder Archie Thompson (Sharon).
Preceding her in death are; husband, Tennessee Thompson; sons, Gresa Thompson, Donell Thompson, Claudell Thompson, Fredrick Thompson, Oneal Thompson and Elize Thompson; daughter Elder Mamie Bluford; granddaughter, Nicole Bluford; grandson, Brandon Thompson and daughter-in-law, Mable Thompson.
