Mr. Robert Lewis Florie, age 78 of Flomaton, AL passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at a Pensacola health care facility.
Mr. Florie was born in Screven, GA and had been a member of the Flomaton community since 1959 coming from Georgia. During his working years, he worked as a medical technician at Abernathy Memorial Hospital in Flomaton. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Flomaton and was preceded in death by his parents, David R. and Rema E. Morgan Florie; son, Robert Ken Florie; grandson, Collin Lee Perry.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Florie of Flomaton, AL; daughter, Larisa (Ricky) Perry of New Jersey; grandchildren, Brooks (Cheryl) Perry, Barrett Perry and Ann Morgan Perry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel at 10 A.M.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel at 11 A.M. with Dr. Tim Tew officiating.
Interment will follow in Flomaton Cemetery, Flomaton, AL.
Pallbearers will be Dewey Bondurant, Jr., Jimmy Burkett, Jack Carden, Larry Jones, Jim McCutchin, Tommy Neal.
Honorary pallbearers will be Delmer Tew, W.T. Gafford, Eddie Simmons.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Children's Center.
