Columbia SC - Mrs. Gladys McManus Williams, 48, of 2512 Parkwood Drive, wife of Evans Williams, Jr., died Sunday [August 24, 1975] at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Greenwood, daughter of Mrs. Desma McManus and the late M. W. McManus. She was a member of Ravenwood Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband; her mother of Edgefield; three daughters, Mrs. Vicki Williams Young and Catherine Ann Williams of Columbia, Mrs. Bonnie Reid Satterfield of Fort Worth TX; a son, Barry E. Williams of Swansea; a sister, Mrs. Barbara Jean Wilson of Edgefield; a brother, Marshall McManus of Greenwood; and five grandchildren. Burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Dunbar Funeral Home.
