Graveside service for Mr. George William Buchanan, age 61, of Flintville, will be conducted at 12 PM on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Flintville Cemetery with Bro. Tommy Graham officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
Mr. Buchanan was born on February 22, 1957 in Madison County, AL to the late Hubert AJ and Betty Jo Bridges Buchanan. He worked as a chicken farmer and enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Buchanan passed away March 6, 2018 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
Survivors include his daughter, two sons, five grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. In addition to his parents, Mr. Buchanan was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Lynn Hobbs Buchanan.
