Mrs. Betty Jean Arrowood Wilson, age 85, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018, at the Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center.

Betty was born in Johnson City, TN, on November 26, 1932, to loving parents, the late Mr. Albert L. Arrowood and Mrs. Anna Grace Arrowood.

Mrs. Wilson worked in Personnel at Sears for almost 40 years. She loved spending time with her friends and family. Her family garnered strength from her as she was the Matriarch of the family. She made sure everyone was taken care of. She was very much a ‘Mama’ to her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Mr. Harry Jeffrey “Jeff” Wilson and her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry R. (Donna) Arrowood. Several other beloved relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 and a half years, Mr. Harry Wilson, and her siblings- Neva Lee Blevins, Bill Arrowood, Kenneth Arrowood, Kenrita (Rita) Hopson and Stevie Arrowood.

The graveside funeral service for Betty will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 11:00 AM
in the Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery in Sandy Springs, GA.
