Todd R. Brown, 42, our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and grandson, passed away Jan. 2, 2004.
Todd was born December 16, 1961 in Provo, Utah, the son of Ruel R. and Jean Sharp Brown. He married Peggy Gepkens in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 22, 1990. Included among the many accomplishments Todd was recognized for, was his Associate Degree from the Salt Lake Community College, serving with the Midvale Fire Department, serving as an EMT, working for Gold Cross Ambulance, and serving with the West Valley Fire Department where he was Deputy Chief. He received numerous awards and commendations while employed at West Valley City Fire Department. Todd served an LDS Mission to England and was a member of the Bluffdale 6th Ward. Time spent with his children and family was precious both to Todd and to his family.
Survivors: wife, Peggy; children, Kyrie Burton, Joshua and Megan Brown, all Bluffdale; parents, Ruel and Jean Sharp Brown, living in Sandy, formerly of Midvale; sister, Jill Brown, Midvale; grandmother, Dorothy Sharp, Salt Lake City; mother-in-law, Nelly Gepkens, West Valley City; also numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004 at 12 Noon in the Bluffdale LDS Stake Center, 14400 South 2700 West. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State Wednesday 6-8 p.m. or Thursday at the church from 9:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to any Beehive Credit Union in Todd's name, to establish a trust fund for his children.
