MIDVALE - Edith C. Ronquillo, our devoted mother, 79, passed away May 14, 2002.
Born March 14, 1924 (sic) in Arden, NV to Octaviano and Soccoro Rel Carrera. Married Dan Ronquillo in Salt Lake City Jan. 12, 1946. He preceded her in death October 7, 1988. She exemplified the meaning of true faith, hope and charity. She was a member of the Guadalupana Club, the Cursillo, and an active member of St. Therese Catholic Church where she sang in the Spanish Choir and served on the Parish Board. Edith will be missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
Survived by children, Nora Hardy, Tempe, Arizona; Tina (Don) Sharp, Denver, Colorado; Danny (Beverly) Ronquillo, Murray; Fred Ronquillo, South Salt Lake; Delores (Philip) Jay, Panama City, Florida; Elly Ronquillo, South Jordan; 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sisters, Josephine Deavila and Mary Louise (Lee) Montano, and by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass Friday, May 17, 10 a.m., St. Therese Catholic Church, 642 West Lennox Street (7870 S.) Rosary Thursday, May 16, 7 p.m., Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, where friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
