Born in Seneca, he was a son of the late James W. Moore, Sr. and Deanie Rochester Moore.
Mr. Moore served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Navy from which he retired as a machinist.
He is survived by one daughter, Joan Barnhill and husband, James; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Gunter; three sisters, Ollie Smith, Sue McDonald, and Dorothy Lewis; and two brothers, James Moore, Jr., and Rodrick Moore.
