Emery was born July 10, 1903,
to Edmond and Emma (McConnel)
Wilson at Leeds.

In 1928 he married
Vcrna Schumann at Newell. He was
a member of the Farm Bureau and
Methodist Church. He served on
school boards, church boards, Farm
Bureau boards, was Sunday school
superintendent for several years,
and served as chairman of building
committee for the new church. He
retired from farming in 1965.

Preceding him in death were
his parents; one daughter —
Marjorie; three brothers — John,
Eugene and Frank; and two sisters
— Lucille and Genevieve.

Survivors include his wife;
one son — Dale, Newell; three
brothers — George, Leonard and
Ashley; two sisters — Marion and
Janette; four granddaughters; and
one great-grandson.
