Mr. Jason Paul Norris, age 46 of Teachey, North Carolina died Monday, March 5, 2018.
Born June 2, 1971 in New Hanover County, NC he was the son of William Hallie Norris and Hilda Louise Heath Norris of Teachey, North Carolina. Survivors include his daughter, Jenson Norris of Wallace; his parents, William and Hilda Norris of Teachey; brother, Bill Norris and wife Kelli of Teachey; nieces, Caitlin Flockhart and husband Jason of Teachey and Riley Norris of Teachey; nephews, Andrew Hargrove and Jacob Hargrove; great niece, Avery Flockhart of Teachey; and very special friends, Steve and Sherry Johnson of Wallace.
Jason graduated from Harrell's Christian Academy in 1989. While at Harrell's he played football, basketball, and baseball and excelled in all of them. He sought agriculture for his occupation in life and was an avid fisherman and hunter. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf or spending time at the beach.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 at Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace, NC. Burial will follow the funeral in Rockfish Memorial Cemetery, Wallace, NC. The family will receive friends at all other times at the home of Bill and Kelli Norris, 125 Annie Faye Norris Lane in Teachey, NC. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
