Isabelle Gladys Krueth passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the age of 97 at the Blackduck Good Samaritan.
Isabelle Hanson was born to Iver and Hilkie Hanson on February 6, 1921, at Pennock, MN, near Kerkhoven. She married Ernest Paul Krueth February 6, 1947, who preceded her in death September 22, 1985.
She is survived by three sons, Roger, Ronald (Judy) and Gary (Cheryl) and three sisters, Joy Wilson of Webster City, Irene Christenson of Hutchinson and Pauline Hanson of Blackduck. She has five beloved grandchildren, Stacey, Teather, Derek, Tiffany and Brian, as well as seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers Leonard, Gerit & Howard, and one sister, Rose Krueth.
In her time, Isabelle worked very hard at farming, logging and especially, at being a housewife. She kept a diary since she was 14 years old, and she catalogued marriage, birth, death and family tree records for her friends and family. She loved hymns and gospel music, and enjoyed country music events. Also, she relished playing the Chung King marble game with friends. Isabelle won the hearts of people who knew her with her fun, caring and generous spirit.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 10 at the Evangelical Free Church in Blackduck with Pastor Dwight Warden officiating.
