Judy Russell, Kansas City, MO resident, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Kansas City at the age of 76. She was born on Monday, October 13, 1941 to Earl and Hettie (Higgins) Burrell in Vincennes, IN. She grew up in Southern Illinois graduating from Mt Carmel High School in 1959. Judy married Bernard Paul, moved to Texas and began working as a switchboard operator. In 1977, she married Raymond Houghton in Texas and worked for the Texas Employment Commission as a secretary. In 2008, Judy married Scia Buck Russell. She loved to read, crochet, and play games on the computer. She was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Buck Russell on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. She is lovingly survived by her brother, Jeffrey Burrell and his wife Margaret. Judy is also survived by numerous step-children, grandchildren and great grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and a lifetime of friends.
