Stephanie was born November 13, 1978 in Okemah to Sanford Golden and Nancy Sue (Allen) Golden. She passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 39.
Stephanie was a lifelong resident of the Okemah area and a 1997 graduate of Okemah High School. She and Josef Sims were married August 2, 2005 in Okemah, Oklahoma. Stephanie was the promotions specialist for the Golden Pony Casino. She loved spending time with her family and friends and especially watching the kids play sports and also loved listening to music. She will be forever missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her mother Nancy and mother in law, Robin Sims.
Survivors include her husband, Josef Sims of the home in Okemah; her father, Sanford Golden of Clearview, Oklahoma; two sons, Jaraett and Ashton Sims of the home; one brother, Paul Golden and wife Karen of Okemah; two sisters, Tracey Humphrey and husband Shannon of Luther and Dawn Berry and husband Antwoin of Okemah; nieces and nephews, Dean and Victoria Lee, Chelsea and Kyle Dyer, Breanna Jaggers, Aerial Jaggers, Gabriel Humphrey, Brett Humphrey, Michael and Katy Cox, Meagan and Alliyah Smith, Kenna Haddox-Golden, Cameron Berry and Andre Berry.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
