Frances Ruth Coleman Watkins, 90, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Attala County Nursing Center surrounded by her family. Visitation is from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Harmony Cemetery. Dr. Paul Blanchard will officiate.
She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She loved her church and garden. She also loved to visit with her family.
Survivors include her brother, Charles Coleman of Poplar Creek, MS; daughter-in-law, Kathy Watkins of McCool; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Watkins; son, Rev. Barney Watkins; brothers, Wiley Coleman, J. C. Coleman, William Coleman, Carl Coleman, Earl Coleman, Roy Coleman, and Raymond Coleman; sisters, Mable Coggins and Helen Halderman.
Pallbearers are Mike Coggins, Logan Ray, Johnny Coggins, Terry Coggins, Jr., C.W. Walters, and Trevor Tanksley. Honorary pallbearer is Earl Osborn.
Memorials may be sent to Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery fund or Liberty Hill United Methodist Church.
