BEVERLY ANN NEWMAN., age 69 of Alvin, Texas passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Pearland Medical Center Pearland, Texas. Beverly was born June 30, 1948 in Houston, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. She graduated from Alvin High School in 1966; spent 20 years working for Alvin I.S.D. and 15 years working for Wal-Mart. Beverly was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and many wonderful friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Michael Newman; parents, John and Marvelene Muma.
Beverly is survived by her daughters, Tracey Harper and husband Terry, Shelly Guerrero and husband Donald; son, David (Mike) Newman; brother, Mike Muma; 7 grandchildren, Kirstie, Kelsie, Brittany, Summer, Makenzie, Makayla and Carey; 3 great grandchildren, Kaislee, Payten and Austin; niece, Stephanie (Muma) Long; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the Manvel EMS and Pearland Medical Center staff for their response, compassion and exceptional care they provided to our dear Mom (Gaygay).
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Scott Funeral Home. Interment to follow in the Confederate Cemetery, Alvin, Texas.
