Mrs. Moak, 75, died Aug. 4, 2009, at her residence. She was born on May 3, 1934, to Joseph W. Sasser Jr. and Bernice Greer Sasser.
She was a private sitter. She was a member of Arlington Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Richard Ray Moak Jr.; a sister, Margaret Thomas; and a brother-in-law, Willie Thompson.
Survivors are a son, William Wade Moak; a daughter, Margaret L. Moak; a sister, Martha Jean Thomason; her two grandchildren, Montana Moak and Denver Moak; and her nieces, Martha Boyte and husband, Ed, and Amy Boyte and husband, James. All of her family is from Bogue Chitto.
Pallbearers are James Boyte, Ed Boyte, Danny Sasser, Sid Sasser, David Burns and Don Burns.
