Brenda S. Ransdell, 64, New Salisbury, died Monday, July 10, 2017, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. Born March 17, 1953, at Ramsey, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lila Riley Hall. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert and Melvin Hall. Survivors include her husband, Michael L. Ransdell; two sons, Johnny Ray Herd Sr. (Tammy) of Paoli and Chris Ransdell of New Salisbury; a daughter, Renee Herd Goodwin (Mark) of Lanesville; two brothers, Glenn R. Hall (Kathy) of Jeffersonville and James H. Hall (friend Margaret) of Corydon; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Arrangements: Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
