Marcell Murray Brister, 82 of Brookhaven, MS, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Brook Manor Nursing Home in Brookhaven, MS. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven, MS. Burial will be in Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Brister was retired from Auburn Sportswear and formerly worked at Stahl-Urban where she was a supervisor. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church, where she served as WMU Director, she was also a member of LLL, Lincoln Coral, and KDMC Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, working in her yard and watching sports games, especially her favorite team the Atlanta Braves.
Survivors Include: Daughters: Jerolyn McCullough and husband Lennis, Brookhaven, MS Gwen Tardo and husband Rickie, Bogue Chitto,MS Grandchildren: Jody McCullough, Mark McCullough and wife Kelly, Candice Sumrall and husband Billy, and Devin Tardo Great Grandchildren: Ashton and Skylar McCullough, and Gunner Sumrall Brothers in law: W. C. "Bill" Brister and wife Jo W. S. Smith Sister in law: Emma Godard and Husband James
