Mrs. L. Marjorie Jaekel, 40, of Newark, New Jersey, died at the Essex Mountain Sanatorium in Verona, New Jersey. She was the wife of George Jaekel, Newark.

She is survived by her husband; her mother (s/b step-mother), Mrs. William Gridley of Candor; two brothers, Claude Place of Enfield and John Place, Filvia, Pennsylvania; four sisters, Mrs. Leon Cass and Mrs. George Minor of Ithaca, Mrs. B.G. Schutkikel of Buffalo and Mrs. Ernest Bailey of Newfield; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in the Allen Funeral Chapel, Newfield. The funeral officiant will be the Rev. Earl Noyes, pastor, Newfield Methodist Church. Burial will be in Trumbulls Corners Cemetery.
