Ron C. Adams, aka "Big Daddy Juice," 58, of Shartlesville, went on to his heavenly home Saturday in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading.

He was the husband of Denise R. Miller Adams, whom he shared 15 years of marriage.

Born in West Reading, July 29, 1959, he was a son of Thelma Berger Yuknavage, Shartlesville, and Earl Adams, Hamburg, and a step-son of Betty Adams.

Ron was a 1978 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. He worked for Schneider Electric, Leesport, and previously worked for Quaker Maid Kitchens and RAM Industries.

Ron was a member of Bible Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, Schuylkill Haven.

Ron was active in sports. He enjoyed playing softball and hardball with numerous teams throughout the years.

Ron loved coaching the Hamburg girls' softball team and the Hamburg Area Middle School boys' basketball team. He was also on the Shoemakersville dart team and a member of the Shartlesville Fire Company. Ron also loved the outdoors with family and friends, whether it was at the cabin hunting or times spent around the fire pit at home.

Ron's passion was wood working and he loved riding his motorcycle. He especially enjoyed spending time with his "four-some," which included himself, wife Denise, sister, Cheryl and his "brother," Jeff.

Surviving in addition to his wife, parents and step-mother are his sister, Cheryl A. Martin, companion of Jeff Groff, Shartlesville; brother, Joseph J. Yuknavage Jr. and his wife, Andria, Dauberville; stepsister, Wanda, wife of William Moore, Womelsdorf. Ron is also survived by his nephews, Josh, Ryan and Zach; great-nieces and -nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Art and Shirley Miller, Pottsville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from Bible Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, 35 S. Margaretta St., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. Interment will follow in Cressona Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Leibensperger Funeral Homes Inc., 223 Peach St., Leesport, PA 19533, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Bible Tabernacle Pentecostal Church at the above address or to Leibensperger Funeral Homes Inc. at the above ad-dress to assist the family with final expenses.
