Jamie was born in Danville, IL on April 14, 1950. She was the daughter of Betty (Keller) Rowings and the late Howard Rowings. Jamie was a 1968 graduate of Fountain Central High School.
She had worked for the Review Republican newspaper, and later worked at the registration desk at the St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital until her retirement in 2007.
Jamie married Larry Crane on February 14, 1970 in Attica.
She leaves behind her mother, Betty Rowings; a daughter, Amy (Travis) Hockenbury; a sister, Cindy (Byron) Denny; three grandsons, Justin (Mariah) Hurd, Landon Hurd, and Colbie Hockenbury; a granddaughter, Mackenzie (fiancé, Sam Woodrow) Hurd; two great-grandsons, Kash Woodrow and Kip Hurd; a niece, Ashley (Willie) Wheeler; a nephew, David Denny; two great-nieces, Hannah and Haley Wheeler; an uncle, Bob (Joanne) Keller; her dear friend, Linda Wallace; along with her pet dog whom she loved and adored, Alice.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Rowings; two brothers, Charlie Allen and Jerry Rowings; her grandparents, Harry and Geneva Keller; and her pet dog, Oreo.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, March 7, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., with a private family service to follow. Burial will be held in the Centennial Cemetery near Yeddo.
