Marjorie June (Griffith) Bailey, age 77, of Hampton Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 while under the care of UPMC-St. Margaret Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born June 1, 1940 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Silas and Henrietta (Cook) Griffith. She married her beloved husband William M. Bailey, Jr. on November 8, 1963 in Pittsburgh.
Marjorie was a true patriot. She liked to bake and cook. She loved taking care of family, including caring for animals. She especially enjoyed celebrating the holidays with her loved ones.
She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" M. Bailey; four children, Cheryl (Terry Tropeck) Brent; William (Michelle) Bailey, III, Scott (Tina) Bailey and Marissa (Darryl Morrison) Bailey, all of West Deer Township; nine grandchildren, Ronnie Brent, Ashley (Brandon) Gamble, Austin Brent, Faith Bailey, Hope Bailey, William Bailey, IV, Trevor Bailey, Trent Bailey, and Kylee Morrison; two great granddaughters, Callie and Gracie Gamble; her dogs, Archie And Jack and cat, Midgey.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Marjorie’s family will welcome friends from 2-8 P.M. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park.
A Funeral service will be held at 11A.M. on Saturday, December 9, at Parkwood United Presbyterian Church, 4289 Mt. Royal Blvd. in Allison Park, with Rev. Jeffrey Potter officiating.
She will be laid to rest at Hampton Cemetery in Allison Park.
