Edith A. Gross, 90, of Pittston, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas.

Her husband, Joseph Gross, passed away in 2004.

Born in Exeter, she was a daughter of the late William and Thressa Stout Perschau.

Edith was educated in the Pittston schools. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for W.T. Grant and Kmart restaurants, Pittston, as a waitress.

She was a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Hughestown.

Edith is survived by her daughters, Ann Marie Gross and Mary Thressa Fine; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Edith was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Gross; brothers, William and Darwin Perschau; and sisters, Dorcas Perschau, Keitha Webb, Dorothy Moss, Elizabeth Klocko, Joan Tatri and Alice Lolli.
