Edith was educated in the Pittston schools. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for W.T. Grant and Kmart restaurants, Pittston, as a waitress.
She was a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Hughestown.
Edith is survived by her daughters, Ann Marie Gross and Mary Thressa Fine; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Edith was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Gross; brothers, William and Darwin Perschau; and sisters, Dorcas Perschau, Keitha Webb, Dorothy Moss, Elizabeth Klocko, Joan Tatri and Alice Lolli.
