Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers - Bertrand for Charles Ronald Lee, 87, who passed away on February 25, 2018.
Burial in Lafayette Protestant Cemetery.
Charlie graduated from Lafayette High School in 1948 and SLI in 1953. Shortly thereafter, he married his high school sweet heart, Peggy.
He served in the U. S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1955. He returned to Lafayette and began a long career as a Petroleum Geologist.
Mr. Lee, a lifelong resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Ronald George Lee and the former Ophelia Ducharme.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Peggy Atkinson Lee; two sons, Charles Edward "Ted" Lee and wife, Felecia, Ronald Kent Lee and wife, Stacy; four grandchildren, Lindsey Rae Lee, Charles Gregory Lee, John Charles Lee and Samantha Nicole Lee and one brother, Dr. Frederick Merle Lee and his wife, Norma as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
