Born June 14, 1927, in Marion County, he was the son of the late John and Janie Edwards Cochran.
He was a general contractor, woodcrafter and member of Southern Ave. Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Cochran of Danville; three sons, Harold L. Cochran of Vernon, Fla., David W. Cochran of Danville and Claude R. Cochran of
Lynn Haven, Fla.; a brother, Tom Cochran of Danville; a sister, Ella Coulter of Jacksonville, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Cochran.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Tim Mathis. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Casey County.
