BETTY C. SCHOGREN
AGE 57 YEARS

Betty C. Schogren, formerly of Montmorenci Road, Ridgway, died Friday morning, March 2, 2018 at Ridgmont Assisted Living Facility following a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 30, 1960 in Philipsburg, daughter of the late Carl E. and Dorothy M. (Yates) Schogren.

She resided in Ridgway all of her life and attended the Awakening Alliance Church. She was a member of the Malachi Community Worship Group.

She was a 1978 graduate of Ridgway Area High School and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and Houghton College. She had been employed as a registered nurse by Elk Haven Nursing Home for 27 years and was also the co-owner of The Bethel Bookstore.

She is survived by one aunt, Virginia Beckstrom of New York; and several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David C. Schogren.

Burial will be at Oakmont Cemetery.
