He was born and raised in Limrock, Ala then moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee where he worked for DuPont as a pipefitter for 32 years. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Dan served proudly in the Army and fought in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mona Rousseau; son, Barry Rousseau, parents Dave and Beulah Rousseau; brother, Homer Rousseau; sister, Elizabeth Frazier.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Rousseau, children: Lynne (Lamar Delashmitt) Rousseau, Danny (Rieca) Rousseau, Gina (Stan) Bearden and stepson, Ronald (Karen) Gordon, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Dwight Martin and Ikey Watson officiating.
Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with military honors.
