Sarah Rennee' Gurley Fields, 61, of Siler City died Friday, March 2, 2018.
Mrs. Fields was born in Chatham County on August 11, 1956 the daughter of the late Joseph C. Gurley, Jr. and Florence (Elkins) Turner.
Rennee' was a 1975 graduate of Jordan Matthews High School and attended Guilford College. She had also received her license as a real estate agent and a physical therapist.
Rennee' had worked as a purchasing agent at Siler City Mills, Quality Molding and 84 Lumber. Through the years she attended Oakley Baptist Church, Fellowship Baptist and Calvary Faith Baptist.
She enjoyed golfing, trips to the beach, reading, her dog, Max and time spent with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Steve Fields; son, Brian Fields; mother, Florence Elkins Turner and husband, Charles; sister: Amber Teague and husband, Jeff; brother: Keith Gurley; mother-in-law, Mozelle Fields; grandmother, Virginia Garner Lupton all of Siler City.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 5, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Oakley Baptist Church, 2300 Siler City-Glendon Road, Siler City.
The funeral will follow Monday at 11:00 AM at Oakley Baptist Church with Rev. Jackie Franks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
