Brenda Lee McIntosh Pearce, 68, of Germantown, TN, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Methodist Hospital Germantown. A native of Yancey County, she was the daughter of Martha and the late Hubert McIntosh. Brenda obtained a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from UNC- Wilmington, teaching one year, and then began a new career as an office manager in an animal hospital. She loved to travel, making summer trips to the mountains of western North Carolina, traveling the entire eastern coast, and also made countless trips across the United States.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband: James R. Pearce, DVM; her daughter: Laura Moore (Bob); her sons: Jeff and Michael; and countless cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Academy Cemetery.
