Mrs. Malon J. Moore
Mrs. Harriet M. Moore, widow of Malon J. Moore, died early this morning at her home, 336 Ashland street, following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Moore was born in Pownal, Vt., Dec. 13, 1866. She had lived in North Adams for many years.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Homer Giles of Adams, Mrs. Michael J. Cox of Lenox and Mrs. Arthur Loefke of Buffalo, N.Y.; three sons, Robert J. Moore of Pittsfield; Ernest E. Moore of Clarence, N.Y., and Franklin D. Moore of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Exford of North Adams and Mrs. Mary Haley of Hartford, Conn.; a brother, Henry Exford of North Adams; also 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in the San Soucie funeral home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The service will be conducted by Rev. Ronald K. Adams, pastor of the First Baptist church. Burial will be in the family lot in Eastlawn cemetery in Williamstown.
Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 o'clock.
