A son of the late Hugh and Goldie Fite Blevins, Roy was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Jonas Blevins, Hugh Blevins Jr. and Harry Blevins; a sister, Evelyn
Blevins; and a special nephew, Johnny Haynes.
Roy is survived by 2 sisters; Frances Haynes of Portsmouth and Wanda Abbott of Rushville, Indiana, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00PM Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with David Blevins officiating. Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery with graveside military rites by the James Erwin American Legion Post #622 and the William A. Baker American Legion Post #363.
