OWEN, Mrs. Jane Gloriette, 70, of Charles City, Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 1, 2018. Gloriette loved spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lorraine Adkins, Ann Stewart, Irene Adkins and Elizabeth Jackson; brothers, Lue Adkins, Curtis Adkins, Dewey Adkins and Bill Adkins. Gloriette is survived by her son, Wes Owen and his wife, Kimberly; five sisters, Pearl Stewart, Gwen Whitehead, Joyce Stewart, Thelma Bradby and Beatrice Clancy; two brothers, Gene Adkins and Alva Adkins; and three grandchildren, Adam Owen, Noah Owen and Leah Owen. A funeral service will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Samaria Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, Va. 23140.
