Diane Powers age 54, of Spring TX passed away on January 25th 2018.    Her siblings were Kenny, Kaytha and her baby sister June.  She was married to the love of her life, Mark Powers, for 36 years! She was survived by her four children Daughters Delores, Markayla, Agathe and Son Jeffery and grandchildren Paul, Mark, Andrew, Kelcey, Jayce, Kayleigh, Jackson, Lillian, Cheyanne and Kristalyn, parents: Lynda and Kenneth Potts.  She will be dearly missed by all of her extended family and friends.  She had a way of always having a PMA(positive mental attitude) as she always said and loved to volunteer her time whether it was helping a family member, helping at the grandkids school, being a kid taxi driver or just baking crazy amounts of cookies for the holidays. She always loved having the family together,  and always made sure you knew how much she loved you everyday wether it was a morning message or a million I love you’s before getting off the phone. She gave so much of herself and never asked for anything in return.  We are all incredibly lucky to have known her.

A wife, a mother, a grandma too

A wife, a mother, a grandma too
This is the legacy we have from you.
You thought is love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
For all of us you gave your best,
Now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace you’ve earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts, we’ll eternally keep.
