Mrs. Ford was a waitress, working at US Pizza over 20 years. Always a people person, she enjoyed working with the public. Everyone who met her loved her immediately. Mrs. Ford enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing, and generally anything that kept her busy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence William Ford, Jr.; one son, Billy Leo Ford; one sister, Alice Mae Seymore; and her parents.
Mrs. Ford is survived by three sons, George Anthony Ford of Newport, Joseph Eugene Ford of Newport, Ernest J. Ford of Mt. View; one stepson, John William Ford of Newport; one stepdaughter, Sherry Lynn Pearson of Newport; one brother, Roy Leo Adams of McCrory; one sister, Eva Louise Ford of Newport; seven grandchildren; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at Jacksons Newport Funeral Home, Tuesday, 10:30-11:15 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Harrisburg at Noon.
