Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Jacalyn Lee Butlin and her sister Vicki Lee Butlin-Wickline. Lori is survived by her father Ralph William Butlin of San Diego, California; her husband of 29 years Michael Francis Holland of Flower Mound, Texas; her son Jonathan Michael Holland of San Antonio, Texas; her daughter Makensie Lee Holland of Flower Mound, Texas; her brother Bryan William Celey-Butin and his wife Cindy of Elk Grove, California.
Lori worked as a teacher in the San Diego school district for seven years before relocating to Texas when she decided to spend her days raising her two children Jonathan and Makensie. Lori had a great love for life, she was always energetic, smiling and willing to try new things and find novel places to visit. Lori was also a foodie, she loved to cook, she loved the Food Network channel and was always searching out new recipes and restaurants. Lori and her husband Mike had a standing lunch date every Thursday for the last 15 years. Lori loved those lunches and would never miss them for anything.
