Michael Ray Kellogg, 59, of Coal Grove, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018. The Ironton native was born February 1, 1959, a son of the late Leonard and Rita Humphreys Kellogg.
 
Michael was a 1977 graduate of Dawson Bryant High School and a crane operator for Local Union 181 and Tri America. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Bluegrass Vanners of Ashland, the Southern Ohio Van Council and a member of the Ashland Eagles.
 
He is survived by:
a daughter: Becki Kellogg of Ashland, KY
a sister: Dianna (Chuck) O'Leary of Ironton
a brother: Brian Kellogg of Ironton
and a nephew: Joe O'Leary of Coal Grove
 
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 5, 2018 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio with Pastor Eddie Neel officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Hunt, Chris Wright, Ray Whitley, Don Fish, Steve Smith, and Corbin Fitzpatrick. Donations may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
