John Robert Bradford, 78, of Eudora, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 2, 2018. John was born on September 14, 1939 in Chicot County, Arkansas to the late Robert Lee Bradford and Gladys Brumley Bradford. He served in the United States Army and was a Pipeline Welder for over fifty years. John enjoyed raising cattle. He loved to fish, hunt, sing and play the guitar. John was a member of Ross Van Ness Community Church.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Bradford and his grandson, William Bradford, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Martha Bradford of Eudora, AR; sons, William (Maggie) Bradford of Eudora, AR and Gary Bradford of Kilbourne, LA; daughter, Lisa Bailey of Kilbourne, LA; brother, David Bradford of Monroe, LA; sister, Margaret Carter of Kilbourne, LA; grandchildren, Julie Bradford, James Bradford, Jonathan Bradford, Alicia Trigleth, Cory Bailey, Kinley Bradford and Madilyn Bradford; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Ross Van Ness Community Church in Eudora, AR. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the church with Rev. Kenneth Watt officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Eudora, AR. Memorials may be made to Ross Van Ness Community Church, 486 Ross Van Ness Road, Eudora, AR 71640.
